Asprovalta is one of the main tourist resorts of Thessaloniki area. It is only 45 minutesaway from the cities of Thessaloniki, Serres and Kavala and is located at Strymonikos Bay,one of the Aegean Sea, holidays destination.
The Seven (7) kilometers of sandy beach, non organized and four (4) at least fully organized with sun beds, showers, locker rooms, water sports and 2 E.U.s “blue flags”, attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
Asprovalta is perfect for families, with plenty of space, playground, pedestrian zones, beach bars and water sports. Katarina Haus 1 is only 50m away from the beach
Asprovalta has a large pedestrian street, right next to the beach and one more at the main street of the village, to enjoy shopping and a morning or evening walk.
You can enjoy fresh fish, seafood, and delicious local meats at the traditional taverns right by the sea or in the center of the village. Don’t miss out to taste the Kalampoki (grilled or boiled corn) and Loukoumades (Greek honey or sugar donuts), two of the most iconic Greek street food staples.
The pedestrian zones come alive at night. You will find cafes, bars, shops for shopping, and ice cream spots, perfect for the whole family, couples and group of friends.
